I closed Uvxy out wit a profit.
Took a tiny little position in dust and will hold. Idk if this loses after today's monster win.

very interesting catch. Friday August 21st of last year...DUST had spiked in the weeks earlier. as soon as Dust came all the way back down and bottomed out, TVIX went through the roof that day

Nice work.
And Xiv did very little, while Tvix lost 25%
This is why I look at longer ranges than daily.
I think you will see a little pullback on dust which would bring another buying opportunity.

yep--seeing that now. if history were to repeat itself, you can short dust/buy jnug until it bottoms out, then go long on both Dust and tvix at the same time.

Kind of amusing now watching 8 brilliant minds on the other thread trying to trade ^VIX when it can't be done. Plus, even when you get trend right, you almost never have more than 20-40%
of your $ in the trade. Doing a fine job of logging ^vix prices though.
When all they have to do is create a similar system that trades Xiv Vxx Tna Tza.
Someone come up with a system that only picks 1 direction at a time and price
% winning is Higher than Losing. Not necessarily just win rate.
The brain power is there. Someone give it a shot.
Dust may be a better buy at 40.

Im going to try and ride Jnug until then. And I agree with you--that was my first thought the other day. I like Kevin--nice guy, smart guy. But the definition of a successful trade is not a non-busted trade. I dont want to front 100K and tie up that capital to make $1K. I made those mistakes in real estate investment and I really still regret it. Because in real estate, as you know, you cannot get out easily. That said, I appreciate his insights and generosity.
